The king’s name and title, ‘al-sulṭān Fatḥ ʿAlī Shāh Qājār 1214’ (‘Sultan Fath ʿAli Shah Qajar. 1214’ in Arabic/Persian). Rev. Within a circle, ‘zarb-e dār al-ʿilm Shirāz’ (‘Struck in the Abode of Knowledge Shiraz’ in Persian); above, ‘al-ʿizza lillāh’ (‘Might belongs to Allah’ in Arabic). Album 2859. Rare. In NGC encapsulation, graded MS 63. Struck slightly off center and from a somewhat corroded obverse die, otherwise, good extremely fine.
